How to bake lucy's banana bread
My bunch loves bananas. When they become forgotten fruit, I whip up some bread. Yum-me!

INGREDIENTS
Start with macerating 2 bananas.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grab about 1/2 stick of butter, (1/3 cup or 5 Tablespoons or about 2 ounces. )
Melt it.
Add to bananas and mix.
Measure out 1 cup sugar.
Add to bananas and mix.
Grab an egg. Fresh is better!
Mix egg in separate cup first.
Then add to bananas. And mix.
Measure out 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract.
Add to bananas. And mix.
Measure out 1 teaspoon baking soda.
Add to bananas. And mix.
Grab a pinch of salt.
Pitch into bananas. And mix.
Measure out 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour.
Add to bananas and mix well.
Get out your loaf pan.
Spray it with cooking oil.
Pour batter in the pan.
Into the preheated oven at 350 degrees.
Set timer for 1 hour.
I start checking about 45 min into it.
Push toothpick all the way in..
Comes out clean. It's done. Set aside, in pan till cool enough to slice.
Slice it up. Looks great.
The black bits are from that over ripe banana.
So moist. Enjoy!
- 2.0 Bananas
- 1/3c Butter
- 1.0c Sugar
- 1.0 Egg
- 1.0tsp Vanilla extract
- 1.0tsp Baking Soda
- Pinch Salt
- 1/2c All purpose flour
