It is hard not to love a good old-fashioned chocolate chip cookie! These cookies are to die for, they are chewy and soft on the inside!! I hope you enjoy and try this recipe out!!!
Here are all of the ingredients to make the chocolate chip cookies! Now let's get started!
To start preheat the oven to 375 degrees fahrenheit.
Add 2 1/4 cups of flour into a medium sized bowl.
In the same bowl add in your 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
Then add 1 teaspoon of baking soda.
Whisk together to make sure everything is evenly distributed. Set aside.
In a separate bowl add your 1 cup of melted butter.
Then pour in the 1 1/2 cups of sugar.
Then mix in the 2 eggs and the 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract.
Mix the butter, sugar, egg and vanilla extract together. Only mix until everything is combined.
Now add in the mix of baking soda, flour, and salt from before. Gradually add in this dry mixture. Add a little the mix.
Continue until all of the of the dry mix is mixed in. Remember not to over mix!!!!!! Only mix until you can no longer see the flower.
Pour in chocolate chips. Pour in as many as you would like!!!
Fold in the chocolate chips until well combined.
Place aluminum foil on the cookie sheet.
Place balls of dough on the cookie sheet. Make sure these dough balls are the same size.
Here are all of the dough balls! As you can see I like my cookies pretty big.
Place cookies in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
As you can see I should have spaced my cookies out more haha. That's ok though. Just let them cool and eventually you can take them off the cookie sheet and pull the cookies apart.
I put mine on a plate once they had cooled. Voila! You now have yummy chocolate chip cookies!
