STEPS
INGREDIENTS
Gather Ingredients!
Preheat your oven to 400°F.
Add all of your dry ingredients to a bowl (flour, salt, brown sugar, baking soda, baking powder, ground ginger and ground cinnamon.)
Mix 'er up.
Add your cubed butter to the bowl.
Mix 'er up again...should be a crumbly consistency and set aside.
Now time to add your wet ingredients to a different bowl (molasses, milk and an egg yoke but save your egg whites till the end. )
Should look something like this.
TIP: When measuring out sticky ingredients such as peanut buttery, honey or in this case molasses, if you spray your measuring spoon/cup with a little bit of Pam it makes it come out easier.
Slowly add your wet ingredients to your dry bowl and mix until combined.
Flour your work surface whit a bit of flour and knead your dough about 6-8 times. Then pat your dough into an 8-inch circle.
Cut your dough into 8 pizza like slices.
Spray your pan and lay them on your pan about a few inches apart.
Now it's time to use that egg white. Give it a good stir and spread on top of the slices. Then sprinkle some regular sugar on top. Pop them in the oven for about 12-15 minutes.
Remove from the oven when golden brown and best severed warm.
Enjoy! 😋
