How to bake conga bars

Conga bars are rarely known yet very simple. They are cookies in the shape of brownies. You basically make cookie dough and then form them into brownie shapes later on.

Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a bowl.

Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in a large mixer until creamy.

Crack eggs into it, one at a time, and beat well.

Gradually beat in flour mixture.

While beating, slowly add in chocolate chips.

When ready, put mixture/ dough in greased pan and spread out/ smooth it.

Heat in oven about 9-11 mins. This step really depends. After 9 mins, check every 2 mins because the pan is too big to for it to be finished after 11 mins.

When it is finally cooked, there is an optional step. You can add icing on the top or coconut shreddings (like I did for these).

After that, you're pretty much finished. Just cut into squares so they resemble brownies and ENJOY!!
