Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celsius
Line tray with patty pans
Cut 225g of butter
Chop it up so it is easier to beat later
Add into a bowl
Measure 225g of caster sugar
Add to bowl with butter
Crack 4 eggs into a seperate bowl
Whisk eggs together
Start to beat the butter and sugar with the electric mixer
It should look creamy like this
Gradually add in eggs and continue to beat
Add in vanilla essence
Measure 225g of self raising flour
Sift flour into blended mixture
Start to fold in the flour
It should look something like this
Seperate the mixture into two bowls
In one bowl add in 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder
Mix that in
It should look like this
Add some water into a saucepan
Put on stove over low heat
Add a aluminium bowl over the top
Measure out 125g of plain chocolate
Add to the boiler
Let the chocolate melt
Let it cool down for 5 minutes
Add it to the bowl with the added cocoa
Mix it in
Add in a spoon full of both plain and chocolate mixture to a patty pan
Marble it with a toothpick
This is what it can look like
Put it in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes
Delicious cup cakes ready to eat. YUMMMMM!!
