Ingredients
In saucepan, melt butter and chocolate over low heat while stirring
Pour chocolate into large bowl and stir in sugar
With electric mixer, beat in eggs one at a time
Stir in vanilla, 1/2 cup of flour, baking soda and salt
Continue beating with mixer while stirring in the remaining flour with milk
Beat until smooth and when smooth, pour mixture into two 9 in. Buttered round cake pans
Ingredients for hazelnut icing
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until done at 350
Chop hazelnuts. 1/4 cup
2 cup whip cream
1/2tsp. Vanilla extract
Mix until stiff
Add 1/4 cup of chopped hazelnuts to mixture
Mix well together
Set cakes out to cool
Cover the top of one cake with icing
Place second cake on top of icing
Cover entire cake in the rest of the icing
