Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.

Sift together dry ingredients

Cream together butter, white sugar, and brown sugar

Beat vanilla into the creamed ingredients

Beat eggs into the creamed ingredients

Get egg yolk out of egg

Beat together egg yolks and mix into creamed ingredients

Mix in sifted ingredients until just blended

Mix in chocolate chips with the rest of the batter

Drop a tablespoon of dough onto a greased cookie sheet

Bake in oven for 15-17 minutes, take out when golden
