INGREDIENTS
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Grate all 16 ounces of cheese into one of the large bowls.
Mix your 1 and 1/2 cups of biscuit mix and the 3/4 teaspoon of garlic powder together into a separate bowl.
Finely chop 1/2 cup of the onion.
Mix up your 2 pounds of sausage to get the large chunks out of it.
Mix in some of the biscuit mix and cheese.
Continue to add in the biscuit mix, cheese, and onion until you run out.
This is the WRONG way to make the sausage balls.
Make the sausage balls one inch in diameter with space in between them.
Place all of the sausage balls on the pans.
Put one tray of sausage balls in at a time so that both of the trays cook evenly.
Cook for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Depending on the size of the sausage balls you make this recipe should make about five or six dozen.
