INGREDIENTS
First preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Prepare your muffin cups and set aside
Gather your ingredients. The measurements are in the supplies (I didn't include the butter in the picture)
For the topping: put in the 1/4 cup of flour, 1/4 cup of granulated sugar, pecans and the 2 tablespoons of butter then set aside
Add the egg (beat the egg), bananas and milk
In a bowl add in 2 cups flour, 1/2 granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, salt,cinnamon, nutmeg, and 1/2 cup of butter
Add in the banana mixture into the dry ingredients and mix
Scoop the batter into the muffin cups about 3 quarters full
Put the topping onto the muffin mixture
Bake for 16 to 18 minutes or until golden brown
Cool for 5 minutes. Serve warm and enjoy your banana crunch muffins! 😊
- Batter:
- 2 cups, flour
- 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon (ground)
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 egg
- 1 cup mashed banana
- 1/2 cup milk
- Topping:
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
