INGREDIENTS

Sift flour, baking soda and powder in a bowl and set aside.

Cream butter and sugar till smooth. Add vanilla and orange zest to creamed mixture. Add eggs in one at a time.

Incorporate dry ingredients into wet alternate with milk.

Butter and flour.. Probably spray for good measure two 9 inch cake pans. Split batter between two pans.

Bake at 350 for 25 mins. Poke with toothpick to make sure it's baked all the way through.

Let completely cool before you frost with your favorite vanilla frosting. Enjoy!

  • 1/2c Cake flour
  • 3/4tsp Baking powder
  • 1/4tsp Baking soda
  • 3/4c Butter (unsalted)
  • 1/3c Sugar
  • 2.0tsp Orange zest
  • 1.0 Vanilla extract
  • 4.0 Eggs (room temp)
  • 1/2c Milk
  • 1/4c Orange juice
