How to bake an amazingly delicious apple pie

I've been baking pies every since I was little! My grandmothers and I would bake pies for the holidays and sometimes just because we felt like it!

First I make the crust. I put 2.5 cups or flour, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1teaspoon of sugar, 2 sticks of butter into a bowl.

If you're a poor college student like me, you have to combine everything by hand. But it's easier to use a cusinart or a kitchenmaid.

Add water to make the dough stick together. But be careful! Too much water will make the crust too sticky! Ew...

I think it's easier to roll out pie dough if you stick it in the fridge for a little bit before. So while I prepare the apples I stick the dough in the fridge!

Now comes the fun part.... Cutting and peeling apples. Woo hoo.. It's a long process but worth it!

This is my favorite part! Rolling out the dough. Make sure you have enough flour on the rolling pin and on the counter or else your crust will stick!

I learned this from my aunt. When I'm done rolling out my crust, I fold it into fourths and then place it in the pie dish. A lot easier than picking up the whole thing!

Then I pour the apples into the pie dish!

Now I pour milk on the crust and then put sugar on top. The milk helps the sugar stick :)

Now I poke hole in the top crust with a fork! You can create any design you want. It's fun :)

And then I stick it in the oven at 425 degrees for 10 minutes then lower it to 350 degrees for about 40 minutes. But keep an eye on it! Every time I bake a pie it's different.
