But before you do that you want to butter and flour your pan. ( it's doesn't matter what type of baking pan you use ). First butter the pan, than dust it with flour.

Take your measuring cup and add your food coloring to the bottom of it and stir. Pour up to about 1/3 of the way . Do this for all of your colors.

Next your going to take your flour and butter pan and just drizzle your colored batter into the pan. Do one color over the next until your batter is done and looks like this.

By now your oven should be hot and ready to bake your cake \ud83c\udf6d\ud83c\udf70!

Check on your cake after 10-15 minutes just to see how it's doing. You'll know your cake is ready when it looks like this.  When cake is done, let it sit until completely cooled.

When cake is cooled, you can start to shape it the way you'd like.   I suggest shaping it into a square or loaf just because it's easy to do.

After shaping it, crumb coat it with the frosting of your choice. When done crumb coating it out it in the fridge for 30-45 minutes. After 30-45 minutes take cake out and design the way you desire.
