How to back stitch

Threaded needle and fabric.

Come up through your fabric.

Pull yarn all the way through.

Go down through the front to make your first stitch.

Pull yarn all the way through.

Come up from back. Keep the space the same as your first stitch.

Pull yarn all the way through.

Go backwards with your stitch. Go down in the same hole as the end of your last stitch.

Pull yarn all the way through.

Come up from the back. Keep the space the same as your first stitch. Pull yarn all the way through.

Go backwards with your stitch. Go down in the same hole as the end of your last stitch.

Pull yarn all the way through. You now have 3 stitches.

Come up from back leaving a space the same size as your stitches.

Go back down at the end of your third stitch. Continue until you have many stitches as you would like.
