Cut a length of approximately 15cm of webbing strap. Heat seal the ends using a lighter or match to stop it fraying.

Obtain a small torch, LED type is best. It's better to use one that has a narrower middle with wider ends, this will prevent it from sliding out.

Attach a male press stud close to one end.

Place the strap around your belt and torch to find the right position for the female press stud. This should be attached on the opposite side of the strap.
