How to apply eyeliner

Get a bit of water on your brush and then tap the excess off. Swirl in eye liner.

Now you are going to line the base of your top eyelashes as shown.

This takes a bit of practice but is worth it! You then let it dry a bit and smudge out the top as well as get the extra off your top water line.

You can do the bottom lash line as well but I like it to look more natural. You are not painting your water line but more like enhancing the base of the lash to make it look fuller.

I usually go over this with the eye shadow Dark Horse out of the Urban Decay Naked pallet.

I don't wear a lot of make up but this is something I wish that I had known about much earlier! There is a gel to use instead of the water if you feel it's not staying on as long as you would like.
