How to apply eyeliner

Start by applying concealer before you begin lining- this way you won't smudge the line with concealer. Add powder to avoid greasiness.

Using a slightly sharpened pencil, line your bottom lid by following your lash line with smooth, back-and-forth motions. Pull down gently on your bottom lid if it helps.

I usually don't line the inner waterline because it comes off quickly and it irritates the eye. If the line is too thick/uneven, use a q-tip and make-up remover to remove some eyeliner.

To line your upper lid, pull gently to the side with your non-dominant hand. This gives you a smoother surface to line and lets you see much more clearly!

Stay close to the lashes and line using short, smooth strokes. This will take practice! The upper lid is easier to mess up and you'll probably poke yourself in the eye before you get the hang of it.

Try to fill in between your lashes. Use a q-tip to clean up the line if needed. Apply some mascara and you're done!
