I removed the glass from the Lighthouse Frame. I can later replace it with a photo if I choose to.

apply crackle medium to the top half of the lighthouse

Paint top portion of lighthouse with Velvet medium -  Kona and spray overtop with Colorations spray - Warm

glue a few, small pieces of cheesecloth and fish netting to the bottom of the base, mostly for background texture, as later it will be covered with additional cheesecloth and netting

add art stones and apply gesso overtop...once dried, spray throughout with Colorations spray - Sandcastle

spray throughout using Colorations  spray- Waimea Bay, by blending areas with both sprays you will get colors variations of the tans, blues and greens (hard to see in photos)

apply some Sorbet medium - Kenyan Copper (you will be using these same colors for the letters and some embellishments)

apply sculpture medium to the cheesecloth and fish netting, it hardens as it dries

I toned it down a bit by applying Velvet medium - Kona  (you can skip this step for a brighter look)

I cut the compass out from nautical themed paper and placed it behind the Melange pebble.
